Avoid this common mistake

Now I know what you’re thinking. “Gutters and downspouts? They’re a small part of my home why would I need to worry about that?” Good point, they are a small part. But let’s not ignore the consequences of what those gutters and downspouts can cause if they’re not cleaned regularly. Most homes have their gutters attached to the fascia, which happens to be made from wood. If your gutters become clogged, they won’t drain properly. If they don’t drain properly, they will fill and overflow. That overflowed water will find its way into your fascia, leading down to your soffit, and possibly behind your brick, stucco etc.… Gutter guards can be a temporary solution but no matter what, small debris will find itself into your gutter. The best way to avoid this unwanted situation is to have your gutters and downspouts cleaned regularly.

Our Solutions

Our gutter cleaning service includes an entire cleaning of your roof, complete cleaning and declogging of the gutters, followed by an inspection for any abnormalities, finished by a full flush of the downspouts. All the debris is then bagged and hauled away, leaving you with completely clean and functional gutters.

Frequently Asked Questions...

How often should I clean my gutters?

Depending on your location, our gutter cleaning service should be used 1 to 3 times a year. Here in Houston Tx, the area of Memorial seems to take a bigger hit since it has an abundance of beautiful pine trees. In this case, we recommend having the gutters cleaned 2-3 times a year. If you’re in a location with limited trees, then 1 gutter cleaning service per year will be fine. Keep in mind that small critters will likely use your gutters to “set up shop” or build a nest to lay their eggs. So even in locations with very little trees around, your gutters will still be targets for these critters to call home. Covering them completely might sound like a good idea, but then that’ll just defeat the purpose of having your gutter there in the first place.

What happens to the leaves and debris from my gutters?

All leaves and pine needles on your gutters/roof are bagged rather than dumped onto the yard. Any remaining debris will be blown out with our special Red Max blowers along with your downspouts. In the case of a downspout that will not unclog, we simply take it apart, clean it, and reinstall it.

Will my gutters or roof be damaged in the process?

Not to worry. Our ladders have special stabilizers in place to keep the ladder from touching your gutters. The stabilizers rest on your roof, so they provide a gap between the ladder and gutter. Majority of the materials used on roofs are safe to walk in, In the case of a clay tile or slate roof, we refrain from walking on it. Instead, we move the ladders in sections as we go.
